I have adored Emo Philips since the UK in the 80’s. He is hilarious.”
— Eric Idle, May 12, 2018

“Emo is the most brilliant joke-writer in the game. You HAVE to see him live. He’s amazing.”
— Patton Oswalt, February 1, 2022

“What a joy. What a complete joy. Astounding. There really is no better joke writer and that’s the smallest part of what’s great.”
— Penn Jillette, July 23, 2025

“Emo Philips… absolutely killed.”
— Rolling Stone (Carnegie Hall review), October 30, 2022

Described by Jay Leno as the best joke writer in America, Emo Philips has performed over seven thousand stand-up shows in comedy clubs, colleges and theaters, including a multi-week run at the Playhouse Theatre in London’s West End.

In 2018 and 2022-2023, Emo toured with “Weird Al” Yankovic (over two hundred concerts across three continents); Emo will forever remember the standing ovation he received at Carnegie Hall.

“I’m not sure when or where I first heard of Emo’s routines, but once I did I instantly became a fan,” says “Weird Al” Yankovic. “Emo had the iconic look of someone who could have been a major star in the era of silent films. His body language was indescribably weird. And his material was flat-out brilliant.” If asked at gunpoint who the funniest guy in the world was, Yankovic adds, “Without question I would have to say Emo Philips — especially if Emo happened to be the one holding the gun.”
— “Weird Al” Yankovic, Chicago Magazine

Marc Lefton Comedy

Marc Lefton is a stand-up comic based in Gainesville, Florida, and a former award-winning New York City creative director who discovered concepts are a lot easier to execute when you do not have clients. After years of selling ideas to brands, he now sells them to strangers in dark rooms, which is somehow less stressful and better lit.

Onstage, Marc blends tight, economical storytelling with dry, surgical sarcasm and a streak of absurdity. Think polished setup, unhurried turn, then a left-field tag that makes you question why you ever thought reality was normal in the first place. He riffs on politics, history, tech, and everyday delusions with the energy of someone who’s seen too many brand decks and now refuses to lie for money unless there’s a two-drink minimum.

He has opened for Brad Upton (Dry Bar Comedy), Chris Kattan (SNL), and Bo Johnson (Comedy Central). He studied sketch under Bill Chott (The Dana Carvey Show, SNL) and teaches improv, which he describes as “corporate team-building without the HR department.”

Marc is a culture jammer who builds imaginary, implausible companies and releases them into the wild just to see who believes them. He recently released the satirical history book The Tremendous History of the United States of America: How We Became the Nation Proudly Promising to Be as Great as It Remembers Being, upsetting patriots, skeptics, and people who never finished their assigned reading in one convenient volume.

IMPROv

I teach and coach improv. Not the kind where everyone holds hands and does trust falls. The kind where people learn to listen, react, build on each other’s ideas, and stop waiting for their turn to talk. It’s the most underrated professional skill in existence and the reason I can walk into any client meeting, any industry, and figure out what’s actually going on in the room before anyone’s said the quiet part out loud.

Corporate improv workshops (team communication, creative thinking, presentation skills). Improv for marketers. Private coaching for performers. University guest instruction.

SKETCH

TURN YOUR HEAD & COUGH

An entirely AI-produced sketch comedy series. Writing, image generation, voice acting, editing. All AI. All directed by a human who’s been doing comedy and creative direction for long enough to know the difference between funny and weird. (Sometimes the line is thin. That’s where the fun is.)

Can you tell it’s AI? In places, sure. There are hints. But people have laughed at poorly filmed TikToks and crudely drawn cartoons since the beginning of time, because the idea resonated. The medium has never been the point. The work is the point. The work either lands or it doesn’t. This lands.

Giving everyone AI is like giving everyone a grand piano. Most of the music is terrible. Not because the piano is bad, but because most people never learned to play. I’ve been playing for 30 years. The piano just got very, very good.
